Our bridge was really really strong but we used up all the selotape so didn’t manage to win… nevermind!
After break we went to music and learnt to play the keyboards.
Miss Peirs taught us a song about the skeleton and we all got our groove on!
After playing wink murder at lunch we went to the studio and made up a dance about the body and performed it for everyone.

Then we made different objects with our bodies like a working washing machines where beth was all the clothes or a big tower of people being an elephant!
In the afternoon - we did tekondo. It was very good. They was a little kid who was 8 who had been doing it for 5 years!! he was really good, and we learnt how to punch and kick it was great!

GYM – day 6
Then we went on the climbing wall which was really fun after you got the hang of it but it was hard to start off with as you didn’t have a rope or anything to hold onto. You had to get from number one to number nine which took you all over the room and it was difficult but the teacher helped you if you got stuck.
After that we played a game of rounders in the sun which was really great but you had to wear funny sun glasses to protect your eyes and we all looked like dudes!
DAY 7 - mixenden
MIXENDEN OUT-DOOR CENTRE
On the 31st of July we were going to go to the Mixenden out Door Centre. There were forty children and we were separated up into 4 groups which had 5 girls and 5 boys. Group 4 was the first one to start canoeing. They were all anxious about this and thought they would fall into the water and drown, but we had some safety gear that would avoid us from sinking. Once Group 4 had got the hang of it, was becoming easy. We had to get near our opponents and jump on to their boat and then safely back on to their own. Also we were splashing each other and when we pass the kayakers we also gave them a nice wash just to be a little bit generous.

When the session was over we had to swap so the Canoes went to kayaking and the same for the kayakers. The difference between these water sports was one had to be by themselves in a little boat which was kayaking and the one were you were in a team is canoeing. When our group started kayaking we actually found it difficult because we kept on spinning in circles because you had to keep it even of how you were stroking the water with the paddle. At the end we went on to the slide which was fun but when I went down it I swallowed a bit of sea water YUK!
